About Us
Owner- LeAnn Bennett
LeAnn Bennett is a music executive with thirty years of experience and a classically trained multi-instrumentalist, she graduated with a Bachelor of Music from Middle Tennessee State University in 1993. After beginning her professional career in music publishing, she quickly moved to Liberty Records as a member of the Production department and in 1995 to Capitol Records as A&R Administration Coordinator. In 1998 she became the Production Director for Orbison Records and was quickly elevated to Vice President, where she oversaw all creative, A&R, sales, marketing, production, advertising and licensing for the Orbison record labels, publishing entities and estate. Before launching Bennett Entertainment Group LeAnn was in the position of Director of Special Projects at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum for six years where she oversaw CMF Records, CMF Video, CMF Press, Journal of Country Music, Hatch Show Print, and all licensing for the museum, Hatch Show Print and Historic RCA Studio B. LeAnn currently oversees Film/TV music placement, licensing and A&R Administration at Compass Records Group in addition to operating Bennett Entertainment Group. Her lengthy tenures at a national record label group, independent record labels, and managing all of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum's entities provide her not only with the experience, but also with the relationships needed on both coasts and internationally to complete your projects. She has been the Sponsorship Chair for The First & The Worst event benefiting Music Health Alliance since it's inception and Co-Chaired the event in 2018. LeAnn is a voting member of The Recording Academy, CMA, ACM, AIMP, NMPA, A2IM, Source, and SOLID alumni.
